SQUEEEEEEEEEEE
Mar. 11th, 2005 01:40 amMy dad and I met up with
aimlessdesire and
_elric_ tonight. There was much goodness and fun conversation, but the main reason I am posting is to tell you all of The Awesome Box Of Squee, presented to me by the aforementioned lovely people. Once my room is all decorated and I can unpack and find my cardreader, I shall of course post photos of The Awesome Box Of Squee, but for now, a description will have to suffice.
It is a box which Lois covered in a fantastic collage of small versions of New Model Army album covers, photos of Justin Sullivan and of the band. The lid is also covered, and the box alone is utterly fab and gorgeous.
HOWEVER!
Inside the box are all of NMA's albums, studio and live...and and and
my favourite album of theirs, Strange Brotherhood...
has been signed by Justin. TEQ collared him at a gig and got him to sign it; it says "For Shira, Good luck" then his autograph.
I am still squeeing now, well over five hours later. I was literally speechless for about ten minutes at the time. It is an INCREDIBLE present, I do not have sufficient words to express my gratitude.
That, my children, is the tale of The Awesome Box Of Squee.
